Don't give up! Eric
One Monday afternoon, Eric walked along by the river. Suddenly, Eric heard a child screaming for help.
He fell into the water. Eric wanted to help him, but Eric couldn’t.
Just then, a brave man who looks like superman went past. He jumped into the river and saved the child.
Eric thought to himself “I went to learn how to swim because I also to help people.”
When Eric arrived home, Eric told Mom that he wanted to take swimming lessons.
His mom agreed his demand. So from that day on, Eric went for swimming lessons.
However, to learn swimming is not easy.
First, you must learn how to hold breathe underwater. Then you must learn how to float, splash or kick and stay underwater.
Next you must know how to use your hands and arms inside the water. Last, you must learn how to breathe without water coming into your mouth. The whole learning lessons lasted two months.
Once Eric Stuck in water and ended up choking many times in a day. Eric felt like giving up and went home sadly.
That night, Eric talked to his mom his opinion. Mom cheered him up.
She said “Eric, give yourself a chance to learn. It’s good to learn something new every day, isn’t it?”
Now Eric can swim very well like dolphin and it’s his favorite hobby.
From this experience, Eric learned how to be a beginner.
