A Tale of Remembrance
Tips : Choose a "Grandmother" and stick it in the pages of the book.
One day, grandmother was frustrated because her grandchildren didn't like the food she cooked anymore.
She decided to run away from home, and she started travelling around Taiwan.
"I want to run away from home."
First, she began in Taipei. She heard how famous Taipei 101 was, but she had never been. She went to the top floor to see the view of the city. While she was there, she could only think about how better it would be if her grandchildren were with her.
Second, she headed south to Nantou. She visited the amazing Sun Moon Lake. She took a boat out on the water and saw the statue of nine frogs in the lake.
This magnificent scenery brought back a memory of her husband's honeymoon at Sun Moon Lake fifty years ago, but sadly he died sixteen years ago.
Third, she went to the Beigang Mazu Temple in Yunlin. This is a place where she played with her first love when she was a child.
However, they lost contact in 1947 after the February 28 Incident happened.
After, she went to Fort Zeelandia in Tainan. The fort was built in 1624 by the Dutch.
She had been here before with her parents when she graduated from Junior High School. She still missed her parents and loved them so much.
For her last stop, she went to Taroko Gorge in Hualian.
She had come here with her grandchildren last year. Here brought back so many happy memories that she knew it was time to go home.
Finally, when she arrived home, she found her grandchildren crying. They had realized how important she was to them.
Once again, the grandmother's heart was full and content.
She realized that she wanted to spend the rest of her life traveling around the world with her grandchildren.
